Even in a simple opportunity like NHR Products there is a certain amount of material that must be mastered by a beginning networker…  Every new Home Based Business owner has expressed concern over how much they need to know to become a successful at-home-business owner. Visit any internet marketing forum and you will read about worried and intimidated newbie’s feeling overwhelmed at all the ideas for starting a small business.

Information overload is creating an enormous gap for the home business owner who is new to multi-level marketing and online internet marketing. They are inundated with offers, ideas, and systems that all promise to provide the highly desired traffic for running a profitable small business. You can reduce this overload by joining a MultiLevel Network Team.

You hope a Home Based Business will be the answer for providing financial stability but by the time you sort through the outrageous claims like “How to earn one million dollars in one month by using our secret system,” you are ready to give up. Take heart. There are ways to make money from home. One just has to look beyond the scams. Will it happen overnight? Nope. Can it be done in your sleep? I wish. Will there be work involved? Yup.

Generating leads is the key to internet marketing. The question is “how” with so much competition? Do you buy google ad words? Can you become successful with a replicated website? Should you buy leads? Do you have a great names list that you can show your opportunity or have you worn your friends and family out already? Do you have a large or small budget to get started with? The questions go on and on and the confusion grows.

Because of such an information overload on the internet, rather than focusing on a few methods and becoming an expert in those, many novice home business owners take multiple paths to see which one is the most profitable. This is a huge mistake, however, because it takes away from their ability to learn and stay focused.

As a result this leaves them numb, confused and eventually leads to failure, causing them to give up and leaves them with a negative feeling about the home based business industry.

Team based network marketing offers a better way—

The better way is to not take this all on by yourself; join an online network marketing team and find a mentor that understands the confusion of the newbie internet marketer and has a simple step by step system to show you how to make your vision come true. In a team there is simplified training to help each person find their niche. The mentors have sorted out what works best and they are looking out for your home business success. Everyone is working toward the success of all. You don’t need to compete with everyone within the team. Why? Two reasons, the mentors want to give back by helping others and the more successful you become the better the team does.

Each one works in the area of their expertise and lets others do what they are best at. This helps each one in the team stay focused on their tasks and brings success to the entire group.

As many successful at-home business owners will tell you, part of the industries bad reputation has to do with all the hype and false claims and promises of becoming a millionaire overnight. This is a business and without a successful business attitude you are likely to fail. Get rich quick schemes are just that. If it sounds too good to be true it likely is …buyer beware! In the team everyone works together and helps everyone succeed. It is not a get-rich scheme but a steady growth built by many hands making the work light. The team goal is to help you build a successful at-home business.

Rather than falling victim to the information overload syndrome prevalent in the internet marketing world, plan ahead. It’s OK to know about all those other methods and incorporate them into your marketing plan later if you wish, but keep the blinders on and stay focused on the tasks the team is working on. You will enjoy the structure the team provides and it helps you to feel less scattered and enjoy your profitable small business more.

The team will succeed and you will succeed, too. Eventually you’ll learn what works for your niche and your personal style and when you do you will hit pay dirt.

One of the teachings that I really stress with my NHR Products team is that if you want your home business to grow then you must grow as a person.  You must focus on your goals and you must be hyper-aware of any habits or thoughts that might be holding you back.

It happens every day and it’s a little like whales beaching themselves for no apparent reason. We want to bring this up because it’s something I actually went through a few short years ago and when it was happening, I wasn’t even aware of it.

Being on track as an entrepreneur means showing steely resolve and if you are in an inter-network marketing business then steely resolve is your best friend. You’ll hit road blocks and some of them will be personal but while you deal with them, you still need to keep your eye on the long term goal you set yourself.

This has plenty to do with getting into the discomfort zone, an area many avoid. If you find your discomfort zone in network marketing then be rest assured, you’re on the right track. Because feeling uncomfortable means you’re learning something new and moving forward most times.

This was a message which eventually sunk through after my previous sabotaging effort… “You’ll never get past the entrepreneurial breakwaters until you conquer that fear inside you and step outside your comfort zone.”

The message here is that unless you feel uncomfortable in your network marketing business during the growing phase then you’re not on track. In other words, as an entrepreneur, the more on course you are then the more frightened you’ll feel.
